  1. Sandor –

I loved Liz and Dennis’ guide to RVing Mexico, so have been eagerly awaiting this book focused specifically on Baja. Among the many fine points of Baja: uncrowded outside of few big cities, lower crime, great climate, natural wonders, easier paperwork. Like the all-Mexico guide, this book has practical, specific, and illustrated information travelers need, from people who have done it. While online resources are great, there is nothing like having an authoritative offline resource like this book to guide you to safe fun.

This guide is a huge help as I extend my trek past the normal San Felipe or Ensenada destinations. The recommendations for activities and dining are most helpful. Nicely done!

    • Liz Brumer-Smith –

Glad it was helpful for you!!

  11. Gordon –

This super-well-written guide was exactly what I needed for my solo trip to Baja in a 26′ fifth-wheel. Being a senior with mobility issues, I would have probably not taken the trip without their information, particularly places to camp and visit. One note to other travelers – my trip was two weeks in early Dec. Although the weather was great, the eco tours and boats were not operating, and the road from Guerreo Negro to Ojo de Libre Lagoon was closed.
    Thanks Liz and Dennis.

    • Liz Brumer-Smith –

So glad you had a nice experience and felt the guide was helpful. I saw your notes (by email about timing) and appreciate that and will update that for the guide in the future. Hopefully you can return now with more confidence and in a better season.

  12. Carrie Knight –

I purchased 3 different guides for Baja (this was our first time driving our truck camper out of the country!) and this guide has by far been my favorite!! We are 3 weeks into our trip, with about 5 more weeks to go, and I refer to this guide all the time!!

    • Liz Brumer-Smith –

Amazing to hear our guide was such a valuable resource for you on your trip! Thanks for the review and cheers to more wonderful time in Baja.
